From the tender age of childhood, one with intelligence should habituate himself with the practice of devotional service to the Supreme. A human life is precious and meaningful even though inflicted by impermanence.

With such ideals in mind, BGSM organizes Annual Sadhana Shivir (ASS) aimed towards nourishing the heart and fortifying the mind to learn the upcoming challenges in life, and live through them sensibly as per the sublime message of Sanatana scriptures, for leading one's own life and helping others, in a wholesome manner.

Re-shaping your life in the holy land of Chitrakoot

Chitrakoot is a sacred place in India with great spiritual importance. It is believed that Lord Rama spent a significant part of his exile in Chitrakoot. Chitrakoot is situated on the banks of the Mandakini river and is surrounded by dense forests, hills, and valleys. It is said that Lord Rama, his wife Sita, and his brother Lakshmana lived in the forests of Chitrakoot during their 14-year exile. It is also believed that Lord Rama performed several religious rituals and penances during his stay in Chitrakoot. Apart from being associated with Lord Rama, Chitrakoot is also believed to be the birthplace of several saints and sages, including the famous sage Valmiki who wrote the epic Ramayana. The place is also mentioned in several ancient Hindu texts, including the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and the Puranas. Chitrakoot is also a popular destination for pilgrims who come to take a dip in the holy waters of the Mandakini river and to visit the various temples and religious sites in the area. The most famous temple in Chitrakoot is the Ramghat temple, which is believed to have been built by Lord Rama himself.
