Janmashtami Mahotsav 2026 in Udaipur with Pujaniya Raseshwari Devi

Udaipur celebrated a grand Sri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav in the divine presence of Pujaniya Raseshwari Devi, held at Justana Rajputana Resort, Hiran Magri. The event drew a large gathering of Krishna devotees, coming together in devotion, music, and spiritual reflection.

The evening began at 6 PM with a soulful bhajan concert that filled the venue with Krishna bhakti, as devotees joined in, and the premises resonated with harinaam sankirtan.

Raseshwari Devi then delivered an illuminating discourse on "Shri Krishna Tattva," explaining Krishna's infinite qualities and his paradoxical nature — eternally unborn yet incarnating on earth, complete and independent yet bound by love to his devotees, dancing to the simple wishes of the gopis.

This was followed by a divine Raas Leela performance depicting the enchanting love of Radha and Krishna, leaving devotees emotionally overwhelmed.

As midnight approached, anticipation built for the birth of Bal Gopal. Amid soulful sankirtan, the moment arrived, and the pandal erupted in joyous chants celebrating the Lord's divine appearance.

Pujaniya Raseshwari Devi then performed the abhishek of Bal Gopal, after which devotees danced and sang in devotional ecstasy. The event concluded with distribution of prasad among all attendees.

This Janmashtami celebration once again reaffirmed Udaipur's deep spiritual roots and its devotees' unwavering love for Krishna consciousness.
